Job Overview

The Manager – Sales plays a critical role in driving the revenue growth and expanding Voyzant’s brand in the American travel market. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the Reservation team to drive sales, ensure KPIs and sales targets are set and achieved by the team, and work closely with other business units in the Company to develop strategic plans to increase revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and execute a business plan to increase revenue for the group department
  • Ensure incentive targets are met by the team
  • Work alongside the sales team to develop a strategic plan to ensure incentive targets are met in a timely manner
  • Support Organizational Leader in all activities and ensure the maximization of all commercial opportunities and productivity
  • Accountable for finding, on-boarding and contracting of new customers
  • Create, maintain, analyze and review reports and statistics as required by the Company
  • Operate as the main point of contact for assigned key client accounts
  • Conduct regular reviews of market performance statistics and identify opportunities
  • Schedule and conduct regular review meetings with designated Partners
  • Provide selected suppliers with marketing and advertising opportunities to further develop the partnership and achieve commercial targets
  • Schedule and implement sales calls to designated customers to further strengthen relationships
  • Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in achieving business objectives

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of strategic sales expertise is a must, preferably in the travel industry
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM and/or equivalent Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Strong decision making, communication, negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of Air Consolidator and wholesaler market
  • Proven ability to achieve sales objectives
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
  • Demonstrates self-initiative and excellent customer service skills
  • Experienced in working with Global Distribution Systems including but not limited to Sabre, Amadeus and Apollo is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and comfortable working with new technologies
  • A positive and team-player mindset is key
