Co Founder | Chief Executive Officer
Successful entrepreneur, political strategist, media personality, and above all an innovative leader, Chitparan recognized there was a void in Canada’s travel market and embarked on providing a solution for what the travel industry was missing. As Co-founder and CEO of Voyzant, He set out to create a quality full-service provider to exclusively handle the needs of travel agents and agencies while being cost-effective. Chitparan holds a degree in engineering, moved on to a career in media, then diversified his talents and became a sought-after political strategist and operator. His experience of working closely with international airlines, his deep understanding of travel distribution and world knowledge of transport built the foundation for Voyzant to become the global leader it is today.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer of Voyzant, Philip handles the financial planning and manages the finance and accounting divisions. Philip has over twenty-five years of international experience in private, publicly traded and venture-funded organizations mostly centered around travel related businesses. Prior to joining Voyzant, Philip was Chief Financial Officer of the publicly traded Alshamel International, one of the largest travel management companies in the Middle East. He was CFO at OneTravel Inc., LBF Travel, Travelmation Corporation, and Direct Travel. He also held senior finance positions at American Express, The BISYS Group, Rosenbluth International and The Ladbroke Group. Philip brings his expertise in raising capital, structuring companies, financial oversight, merger, and acquisitions to Voyzant.
Voyzant General Counsel
John handles Voyzant’s legal compliance, transactional matters including commercial contracts, licenses, partnership agreements and strategic alliances. He has over thirty years of legal experience having worked as in-house counsel for Suncor Energy, Magna International and Kinross Gold. He has also worked for the Canadian law firm McCarthy Tetrault. John has been responsible for handling major expansion projects, mergers, corporate commercial and regulatory matters. His skill and understanding of a wide range of complex legal affairs makes him a valuable team member of Voyzant.
VICE PRESIDENT – SOUTH PACIFIC
William recently joined the Voyzant group as Vice President of the South Pacific region. William’s extensive airline industry management experience has spanned over twenty-five years. Prior to joining Voyzant, William held a principal commercial position overseeing the Canadian region for Qantas Airways and Finnair and was their Regional General Manager of South America for thirteen years. William possesses a wealth of experience and has forged formidable industry relationships. He brings his passion for the airline industry to the Voyzant team.
Vice President | Asia Pacific
Eric is responsible for Voyzant’s travel division in the Asia-Pacific, and he has over 30 years of travel industry management experience. He has been the head of business travel for some of the top companies in the industry. His range of expertise includes customer service, account management, sales marketing, and airlines. Before joining Voyzant, he was the vice president of Mandarin Holidays. Eric brings his capable professional wisdom to the Voyzant team.
Director of Distribution and Operations
Kuberan is responsible for administering Voyzant’s Operations and Distribution activities. Prior to joining Voyzant, Kuberan was with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in Sri Lanka and Dubai, overseeing various departments such as Reservations, Ticket Office, and the Contact Centre. Along with his many years of airline experience, he was at the helm of Merit Travel’s and G Adventure’s corporate and business travel services in Canada. Kuberan brings a wealth of expertise in providing solutions to principal customers, implementing airline contracts, managing global travel operations, and leading cross-functional teams. He holds a master’s degree in international business administration, is a designated IATA Aviation Management Professional and Salesforce Certified Administrator. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and fishing.
MANAGER SALES STRATEGY & GLOBAL MARKETS
Mohammed Sadiq Shukoor
Sadiq administers the sales for Voyzant’s global market. Prior to joining Voyzant, Sadiq held several key roles in India and the Middle East for Emirates Airline. He brings over 20 years of practical knowledge in business development, sales strategies, and account management. He holds a master’s degree in business administration. Aside from his expertise and experience, Sadiq’s passion for the travel and aviation industry make him an invaluable member of the Voyzant team.
SALES MANAGER - EASTERN CANADA
Titus leads sales for Voyzant’s Eastern Canada division. Titus has had a prolific career in the travel airline industry, which has comprised of sales operations, marketing, and revenue management. With over ten years of experience under his belt, his talents as a team leader can be seen in the numerous airline industry relationships that he has developed and sustained. His inventive thinking and unwavering focus enable him to transform concepts into tangible strategies that successfully achieve customer goals.
Sales Manager | Western Canada
Ravi is responsible for Voyzant’s operations in Western Canada. Ravi’s career in the aviation and travel industry spans over twenty-five years and he has earned a reputation for his ability to successfully handle and resolve complex situations. Prior to joining Voyzant, Ravi worked for Skylink Travel in Vancouver as a sales manager, was the Operations Manager for Globespan/Flyglobespan Airline and a team manager for RDM, a Lufthansa Airline subsidiary. Ravi brings his analytic talents and extensive travel network connections to the Voyzant team.
SALES MANAGER – EASTERN EUROPE
Natalia heads Voyzant’s expansion into the Eastern European market. With over 10 years in the travel industry, she is proficient in creating, configuring, and testing scribe scripts in GDS (Amadeus, Saber, Apollo), utilizing Eclipse IDE (Java) for PNR integration, BSP, ticketing reissuance, refunds, and Trams. Prior to joining Voyzant, Natalia worked with Sky Bird Travel and Tours as the Support System Manager. Natalia’s team building skills and independent spirit are an integral part of Voyzant’s ongoing expansion.
General Manager – Asia Pacific
Joanne manages the daily operations of Voyzant’s Asia Pacific division. Her passion for the travel industry provides the source of her motivation to always ensure that goals are being met, budgets are upheld and employee morale maintained. Prior to joining Voyzant, she worked for Jade Tours, Taipan Tours and Mandarin Holidays. Well versed in the tourism industry and Asian market, Joanne brings her professional relationships, skill, and dedication to Voyzant.
Sanaz brings over 20 years of experience in the travel tourism industry having worked with wholesalers in Montreal such as Standard Tours and Canandes International Tours Inc. She is proficient in handling group bookings with major airlines, complex pricing, ticketing, re-issues, and refunds. Sanaz also brings her in-depth knowledge of the Sabre GDS system, strong airline relationships, land portion and customer service coaching. When she is not busy negotiating with airlines to get the best fares for group travels, Sanaz can be found unwinding by doing some laps in the pool.
